New Place, New friends, Strange Roomies

So, its been  3 months of stay now in Chennai. Yes, Chennai! The feeling of staying in unfamiliar lands, really lured me into coming down South. The days started on a good note this time, with one of the best TQ stays in my TATA experience.

Good, clean place with surprisingly nice North Indian food. The locality, close to the Thiruvanmiyur beach is really nice - clam and serene.

Ok, anways moving on with my journey - Post TQ i've managed to find a new place to stay.

This place Ram's Apartment - isn't that good as the TQ(even though its right across the street) but the TCS'ers staying there seemed fun people. So, yes I've shifted to this place now and it is going to be my sweet home away from home for next couple of months.

So, new place and new friends.

Oh yes, strange roomies! One from mexicana and the other a telugu! The two very different personalities. One, has been running after me to clear up the finances ever since I paid for some of the stuff at the grocery store and the other one has hardly been here for like 10 hours and he's already asking me if I could loan him some money. One talks about political setup in Venezuela, the Syrian unrest and the war like situation between China and Japan and then there's the other troubled by the lack of telugu channels @ our TV.

Along with the fun moments, its also been a great learning experience. Trust me, managing the monthly grocery budget @ our house is no easy a task.
