'Ten'ny Cherian commandments

Recently, one question in a MBA application got my mind rolling. The question was pretty straight forward and so seemed the answer to it but wasn't exactly so easy going. The question asked me "In your work experience, which manager/leader has impressed you the most? Tell in detail what qualities of this person you liked the most." Now, i've really been fortunate to have worked with some very clear headed managers and also some not so clear headed. So, it really helps to compare. But even though i didn't work directly with him, Tenny Cherian, stands in a league of his own.   But since i had not worked with him, my take was all based on second hand information or on an outsiders perspective, but then luckily i stumbled upon this blog on Cherian's Ten commandments by one of his team members, Shilpa Sehgal. Next what?

Well Christmas's over and up next is the New year's. It's really something about us, how we start planning for each so early. The talk of the town soon become "what are your plans" " what are you doing tonight". How people come up to you to know your plans and if exciting, then also be a part of it. Hmmm, well I didn't do much on the Christmas night, had some pending jobs to be completed. New years let's see its still a couple of days off.
