Movie Review: Home Run
One of those movies that somehow quietly slips under the radar when it releases. But if and when you do manage to see it, you do stand up and say "Wow, Stunning" "Home Run" is an amazingly insightful and wholesome movie. It has been beautifully filmed and manages to maintain the focus on a very sensitive issue at hand. The sports injury rehab and recovery process and the pain that comes with it, the importance of forgiving and trusting in the "God's will" has been very well highlighted. The harsh realities of not-so-perfect things in one's life and having the courage to own up to them rather than drowning oneself in addictions, which can take multiple forms. This is a very realistic family movie that would surely make families sit down and have a discussion around: our personal choices and consequences that they have in our lives and the lives of those around us. In short "it brings home the message very well". 10.1.1
